Binh Le founds Tien Bo (“Progress”) a Self-Help Group and Computer Training Center for people with different abilities.

Binh and Quyen (now married) establish Reaching Out – Hòa Nh?p (“Integration”), a Social Business to provide training and jobs to more other-abled people in Vietnam and to teach young disAbled people marketable skills in a friendly, supportive environment.

A small shop is opened alongside the workshop to sell the beautiful handicrafts, thus enabling the young artisans to earn a fair wage and become self-reliant.

The shop and workshop move to the house where you can find them now – 103, Nguyen Thai Hoc. This location, in vibrant “ Old Town ”, Hoi An, attracts more tourists.

| 2003- 2008 |
Reaching Out continues its strong growth, both in terms of the number of employees and the array of beautiful offerings in the retail store. Relationships develop with producer groups around the country. We implement the principles of Fair Trade and develop partnerships with producer groups across Vietnam . We initiate relationships with other Fair Trade organizations around the world, local resorts and companies who use our customized gift services.
